Privacy Policy for My Notes
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the My Notes mobile application (“the app”) handles information. It is intended to describe the app's current behavior accurately.
1. Information We Collect
My Notes is designed to let you create and manage notes on your device. Based on the app's current configuration, the app does not ask you to create an account and does not send your note content to our servers.
Your notes may be stored locally on your device. We do not receive or store the content of your notes on a remote server through the app.
2. Permissions and Device Access
The app uses the device capabilities required for its note-taking features. It does not request storage permissions unless they are actually needed by the version you install. Please review the permissions shown by your device or Google Play for the exact permissions requested by your version of the app.
3. Internet, Analytics, and Advertising
The release described by this policy is intended to work offline and is not configured to display advertisements or use analytics. If a future version adds online services, analytics, advertising, backups, or other data processing, this policy will be updated before or when those features are introduced.
4. Sharing and Selling Information
We do not sell your personal information. The app is not designed to transmit your notes to third parties. If you choose to share note text yourself using another app or service on your device, that sharing is controlled by you and the receiving service's own privacy practices apply.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Notes saved locally remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app or its data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data may permanently delete locally stored notes. Consider making your own backup before uninstalling or clearing app data.
6. Children's Privacy
My Notes does not knowingly collect personal information from children through an online account or server. If the app's features or intended audience change, this section will be reviewed and updated as appropriate.
7. Security
Because notes are stored locally, protecting your device, screen lock, and backups is important. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information stored on your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. The updated policy will be published at this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
